Speakman eye/face washes are engineered to provide a fast cleansing, low velocity first aid curtain of aerated water that washes eye and face contours gently.

The specially designed bowls ensure that the water is distributed through the aeration system at the correct flow rate to safely decontaminate the affected area.
The Speakman AERATED EYE WASH provides two soft dual streams of aerated water to instantly wash away contaminants from soft membrane areas, following the eye contours more closely. Aerated water provides a peroxide scrubbing action that removes contaminants from delicate soft membrane areas more efficiently and safely. Harsh streams or jets of water that can embed injurious material into the eyes or skin are avoided.

The quality of the water flow is totally irrelevant if the aerated water has to travel too far from the aerated outlet to the eyes, Quite simply, if the distance is too far the water pressure has to be higher, which decreases the efficiency of it's operation. Once activated, a 225mm curtain of aerated water washes and gently follows contours of the eyes and face for safe cleansing action. Free standing or wall mounted eye/face wash models are also available for every work situation.

In an emergency the user may possibly be unable to see or reach foot or hand activated, the bar just above the bowl is set off by leaning forward, in this position the face is in the perfect position for the water flow, the soft aerated water follows eye and face contours and softly removes contaminants from delicate membrane areas.
